This is an unusual review because finding the best coffee maker for RV’s use will depend on very specific features you might be looking for. We will have to assume that, for most people, the most important element will be that of a small footprint. Space is at a premium in Recreational Vehicles, and the smaller the device, the better, but you also don’t want to sacrifice capacity. It doesn’t do you any good to have a very small coffee maker if you have to keep brewing pot after pot because the capacity is so low.

Another feature of some importance is versatility. Again, because space is at such a premium, it’s worth considering whether the coffee machine can perform more than one function.

Below, you’ll find three very different sorts of coffee makers. All three types (four machines) made our final list for very different reasons, but the best has to be the Space Maker coffee maker for RVs.

Our Pick: Black + Decker Spacemaker Coffee Maker for RV

Runner-Up: SPT BM1118 Space Saver Coffee Maker For RV

What’s great about this versatile little machine is that it’s a coffee maker, toaster oven, and griddle all in one. You can make a nice cup of joe, and fry an egg with some toast while you’re waiting. A fantastic multifunction device. Its only real drawback is that the coffee maker is only four cup capacity. If you’re a power drinker, you’ll have to brew more after breakfast, which is the only reason it didn’t make our top pick.

Also Great: Sunpentown 3-in-1 RV Coffee Maker

It features a toaster oven, coffee maker, and a non-stick frying pan on the top, which gives you an amazing amount of functionality in an extremely small unit. Unfortunately, it has a small coffee pot capacity of just four cups. Power drinkers will find this not to their liking, even if they’re impressed by the sheer versatility of this efficient, space-saving machine. It didn’t make our top pick because of low cup capacity, but it deserves a mention.

Honorable Mention: Franklin Chef Digital RV Trailer Coffee Maker

Franklin Chef Digital RV Trailer Coffee Maker

Designed with a small footprint, the Franklin Chef RV Coffee Maker is superbly suited for RVs with very limited counter space. While it obviously won’t save as much space as the Black & Decker Space Maker, its traditional design also means that there’s nothing to do installation-wise. It’s ready to be used from the moment you plug it in. The fact that it’s also got a 12-cup capacity is nice in a machine of this class because most coffee makers with small footprints are limited to six or ten-cup capacities. It didn’t make our top pick because it’s not an under-counter design, which we feel most RV travelers would be looking for.

One of the other major features that RV travelers look for in anything they put in their campers is versatility. If a machine can serve multiple purposes, it automatically gets a second look.

What Is the Best Coffee Maker For RV’s 2024?

There are two main factors we wanted to see in our quest to find the best space-saving coffee maker for RV. Large cup capacity and small footprint. A third factor, of somewhat lesser importance, is versatility in function.

In this case, the Black and Decker Space Maker SCM1000BD was the winner. With its under-counter design, its footprint is essentially zero. Despite the other models’ excellent features, the small footprint was the feature we were most concerned with, and Black and Decker won handily.
