The Olympus Trooper 10×50 DPS I weighs just 30.16 ounces and measures 7” wide x 7.5” long.  That’s big enough to fit comfortably in your hands while being light enough that it won’t weigh heavily on the muscles of your neck if you wear them for the better part of a day.

The 7×35 is both slightly smaller and lighter and is perfect for bird watchers everywhere.

Both models feature UV-coated lenses and rubberized grips that make it easy to keep a firm handle on your binoculars—even if it’s a hot day and you’re sweating or if it’s raining outside.

We feel that these are slightly more ruggedized and have a better all-weather grip, but ultimately, whether they’re a better overall fit for you will depend on how and in what conditions you plan to use them.
