Our Infinity Evolution massage chair review focuses on a model with one of the best technological setups on the market!
Infinity Evolution 3D/4D Design Overview
Infinity is a brand whose mission is to create innovative solutions for complete physical and mental well-being. We can vouch for that, with their impressive line of massage chairs that are advanced, contemporary, and luxurious.
In this Infinity Evolution massage chair review, we set our sights on this high-end model that costs around $10,000. That’s right- it’s about the same you’d pay for a used car!
It boasts a Voice Control function that lets you choose your massage simply by speaking. You can also enjoy breathing in the cleanest oxygen with an Air Ionizer that’s built into the headrest.
And that’s just the beginning of what this masterpiece can do. We’ll delve deeper into the features later. But first, let’s look at the specifications.
The Infinity Evolution sports the contemporary “pod” shape typical of most high-end chairs. It comes in three neutral colors: black, brown, and rose gold.
The dimensions are 66 x 35 x 48 inches, and it weighs 435 pounds. That’s a huge chair and will require quite a bit of space. Therefore, it may not be the best choice for small apartments.
Despite its behemoth size, the Evolution has Space Saving Technology that ensures you can fully recline without knocking anything over. You get a 4” wall clearance, which is industry standard. The best chairs have at least 5” of clearance or less.
We love that this chair was built to accommodate larger body types because, unfortunately, most chairs on the market do not. It can hold a max weight of 300 pounds, which is far above the average of 260 pounds.
This earns the Evolution major points, although some Infinity massage chair reviews have said that it is not designed for shorter people, and the massage rollers may not reach the feet.
The taller crowd wins out over the shorter crowd, with an extendable footrest.
One thing to note is that it’s manual, so you have to apply pressure the entire time to keep the footrest extended. We were surprised not to see an automatic extension in a luxury chair like this.
Still, the Evolution offers more pros than cons where therapeutic value is concerned. It even rocks back and forth on its base like a rocking chair to release tension from your back muscles and de-stress!
Infinity Evolution 3D 4D Features
Next up, we take an in-depth look at the Infinity massage chair Evolution’s features. Overall, it has everything you’d see in a modern massage chair, with most of the extras you’d expect from a luxury model.
L-Track + 3D/4D Roller System
The most important technology in an ergonomic recliner is the massage track and roller system, which determines the therapeutic quality.
The Infinity Evolution doesn’t mess around with its 49” L-track, which starts at the base of the neck, follows the spine down to the lumbar region, and extends underneath the seat to cover the thighs and glutes.
You’re getting a top-of-the-line setup here, as this type of track will cover every area of the body.
Infinity added 3D and 4D rollers to complement it, which is as good as it gets when it comes to massage technology. It’s also rare to see a recliner that offers both types of rollers.
Here’s the deal with 3D/4D:
Quite frankly, this is one of the best roller systems we’ve seen and well worth the price if you suffer from chronic back pain.
3D Body Scan
This is also a standard feature you’ll find with low, mid, and high range chairs- so nothing fancy here.
The Infinity Evolution 3d/4d massage chair will automatically scan your body and take note of your main pressure points. Then it adjusts the rollers to fit your unique dimensions for a more accurate massage.
Zero Gravity Seating
This is a highly popular therapeutic feature that many people love, and nowadays, you’ll find it offered with almost any massage chair.
It works by reclining to a specific angle that elevates the legs above the heart and induces a weightless sensation.
NASA inspired this concept as a way to release the pressure of gravity from the joints. It can supposedly improve blood circulation, relax the mind, and render a deeper massage since your back is pushed firmly against the rollers.
Now while we were stoked to see that the Infinity Evolution has Zero Gravity Seating, we were a bit disappointed that it only offers one position.
There are many other mid to high-range chairs on the market that offer 2-3 positions, and for the price, it would be nice if the Evolution had the same.
Lumbar Heat
Oof...lumbar heat only? It’s another drawback to this highly expensive chair. And it doesn’t help that some Infinity Evolution massage chair reviews mention that the heat is weak.
Heat is a luxury feature that boosts the therapeutic value considerably when combined with the Zero-G position, rollers, and air massage.
To give you a brief comparison, low to mid-range chairs typically only offer heat in the lumbar region. But when you add heat to the footwells, too, well, that’s giving people with foot/leg pain a reason to celebrate.
For high-range chairs, it’s common to see at least two regions with heat. Some even offer full body heat. For the price, we feel that Infinity could’ve done better here.
Infinity Evolution 3D/4D Accessories
If you’re the type of person who loves fun extras, then we are happy to report that the Infinity Evolution 3d 4d is packed to the brim.
The highlight feature here is the Voice Control, which works by speaking into a tiny microphone built into the headrest.
To activate this function, say “switch to voice mode,” and then you can tell it which massage you want.
While nifty, beware that some Infinity Evolution massage chair reviews have mentioned that it’s difficult to get the technology to recognize your voice, so you may say one thing, and it will do another.
Besides Voice Control, it also has Bluetooth speakers, a USB port for charging your smartphone, and a downloadable app that lets you control the massage chair from your phone.
Another unique accessory is the Air Ionizer. It’s a small vent located in the headrest that helps facilitate healthy oxygen flow during your massage. This ensures you only breathe in the purest oxygen for a truly refreshing experience.
Infinity Evolution 3D/4D Massage Chair Programs
We were happy with the selection of massage techniques and programs the Infinity Evolution has on deck. The rollers perform the basic set of Massage Techniques, including:
These techniques feel heavenly, thanks to the 3D/4D rollers. They’re combined with different intensities and speeds to create nine auto-programs for massage on demand. This includes three specialized 3D massage programs for deeper, more therapeutic sessions.
Here’s a sneak peek at what these programs can do:
One of the standout features of the Evolution is the number of manual options you get to customize your massage from scratch.
A timer lets you choose the duration of your massage in 10, 20, or 30-minute sessions. Then you pick your techniques and adjust as needed.
You can manually adjust:
Infinity went one step further by adding MyMassage Programming to save two custom massages. Once saved, they are added to the list of auto programs, so you can select MyMassage 1 or MyMassage 2.
Air Massage
No modern massage chair is complete without a full-body air massage, and the Infinity Evolution doesn’t disappoint.
They make sure you’re covered, with 32 airbags strategically placed from top to bottom. With the push of a button, you can enjoy a relaxing compression massage, which soothes tired muscles and relieves stress after a long day.
Infinity once again comes through with manual freedom by allowing users to control any of the airbags independently. You can select individual bags for a point massage, a specific area of the body, or a full-body air massage.
There are 5 intensity levels to choose from, which are above average on the market. You can even adjust the shoulder airbags to accommodate people with wider shoulders- that’s rare!
Foot/Calf Massage
Although we are still a little bit hurt that there’s no heat in the footwells, we must say that Infinity did a good job with the roller and airbag design.
They didn’t go with basic mechanical rollers like what you’ll find in most low to mid-range chairs. Instead, they implemented their triple roller Total Sole Reflexology system with three different speed levels.
This consists of three rollers located at the pressure points of the foot that administer a deep, pain-relieving massage. Meanwhile, airbags oscillate the calves to melt away tension from long hours of standing.
While top-notch, heat would’ve ramped up the therapeutic value considerably for those who suffer from foot/leg pain.
Infinity Evolution 3D/4D Pros vs. Cons
PROS
CONS
With a price tag this expensive, you can expect the Infinity Evolution to have the goods to show for it.
There’s nothing bad to say about its massage technology at all. The L-track ensures that the entire body is covered, and the 3D/4D rollers deliver an incredibly lifelike experience.
Bear in mind that there are only nine auto programs, as we’ve seen other chairs with a lot more. But since the technology is cutting edge, we’re confident you’ll be satisfied with the power and quality no matter the program.
Plus, there are so many manual options, you can build all sorts of custom creations. We love that there are two profiles to save them.
A luxury massage chair wouldn’t be complete without its shiny accessories, and you’ll see that with the Voice Control and Air Ionizer.
Do you really need these features, though? Not only does it make the learning curve steeper, but it’s also part of the reason for the higher price.
Other than that, the Evolution embraces diversity with its 300-pound weight capacity. It’s always nice to see a chair that caters to multiple body types.
It’s difficult to find fault with this recliner, but probably the biggest drawback is the heat. For the price, we would’ve thought there’d be full-body heat or at least in the footwells. It also doesn’t help that Infinity Evolution 3D/4D reviews knock the temperature level.
As well, the price is not affordable for everyone. That’s always one of the biggest cons of high-range massage chairs- they’re designed for a specific buyer group.
We recommend the Infinity Evolution 3D/4D massage chair for…
Infinity Massage Chair Evolution Warranty
Infinity takes care of their customers with a stellar 5-Year Residential Limited Warranty. That means from the date of purchase you get…
Comparable Products
If you love the Infinity Evolution, but it’s out of your price range- don’t despair! There are numerous massage chairs on the market with fewer bells and whistles but excellent massage capabilities.
It’s a high-quality massage chair and a great value for the money combining some of the most popular massage chair features into a single chair without the cost you might expect.
This is a similar Infinity model without fancy accessories. It does have 3D rollers, lumbar heat, Zero-G seating, and a fantastic foot/calf massage, but at a fraction of the price of the Evolution.
Recommended For: Those who are not on a budget, suffer from chronic pain, or want to relieve severe stress and anxiety.
Another luxury model for the same price, this recliner offers similar features, such as a 49” track, Air Ionizer, Zero-G Seating, and plenty of manual options. It’s also one of the few chairs with full-body heat and side doors that swing out to the side.
Recommended For: Users with chronic back/foot/leg pain
Here’s another mid-range option that focuses more on quality and less on luxury. The Kahuna brand has a reputation for therapeutic value. This chair has a 51” HSL-track, 3D rollers, 107 airbags, and 15 auto programs (wow).
Infinity Evolution Massage Chair Review Conclusion
With high-end massage chairs such as the Infinity Evolution, you get what you pay for. This recliner delivers a powerful massage that feels like a professional masseuse lives at your home.
Every detail is considered to enhance relaxation as much as possible, from the multitude of massage options to independently controlled airbags.
To conclude this Infinity Evolution Massage Chair review, the high price is not affordable for everyone. If you go to the chiropractor regularly, investing in its therapeutic benefits is probably worth it. That’s because you’ll save money on chiro visits, and the chair will pay for itself in the long run.
