Features

flir systems t75 thermosight review - Consumer Files

The Flir systems T75 ThermoSight packs a lot into a relatively small size. Measuring only 7.3 inches long by 2.8 inches wide by 3.5 inches high, the FLIR T75 weighs just 1.75 pounds -including batteries and all necessary mounting hardware.

Despite its small size and light weight, this ThermoSight can take a beating. It is specifically designed to withstand thousands of rounds of gun shock while simultaneously minimizing impact on the weapon and reducing operator fatigue.

The compact size and low profile also help to prevent snagging and reduce interference with other devices. It can also withstand operating temperatures from -40 degrees Fahrenheit to 120 degrees Fahrenheit. For storage, temperatures should not exceed -40 degrees Fahrenheit nor 160 degrees Fahrenheit.

Truly versatile, the ThermoSight T75 can be used accurately as direct view, as a clip on with the quick detach throw lever or mounted onto a Picatinny rail system.

With longwave thermal imaging, you will have a clear image with sharp details of your target whether using during the day or in total darkness. Obscurants such as fog, dust, and smoke are not a problem and will not disrupt the image quality.

The FLIR Systems T75 ThermoSight can also be used for video surveillance thanks to the included video output cable and a mini-joystick.

The mini-joystick can also be fitted beneath your thumb under the handguard when supporting their weapon, allowing you to change the sight and adjust the IR image without moving your hands or moving the weapon.

It also features adjustable magnification of 1x, 2x, and 4x. This affords you a wide field of view to let you see everything around you and a narrow field for accurate identification and target acquisition. The FLIR T-75 has an operating range of up to 800 meters or 875 yards. All magnification and field of views are compatible for use with standard day optical sights.

Unlike many ThermoSights, the ThermoSight T75 can be powered by two or three AA batteries, either lithium or alkaline, as well as one or two DL 123 batteries, in any orientation. It also has a long battery life, with three AA lithium batteries providing six hours of continuous use.

It comes with an adjustable quick detach throw lever mount, remote control pad, video output cable, coupling light shroud/eye relief, batteries, lens cleaning kit, soft carrying case, operators manual, and a graphic training aid.
