BC 11D Massage Chair

Beauty Health BC-11D Massage Chair
4.2

The BeautyHealth BC-11D massage chair gives you the most bang for your buck with Zero Gravity, sliding armrests, body scan technology, and full body air massage. But compared to other similarly-priced massage chairs on the market, we feel it’s a bit outdated and recommend checking out the highly-rated Kahuna LM6800 instead.

Check Latest Price

BeautyHealth offers massage chairs in a variety of price ranges. But for the most bang for your buck, you’ll want to check out the BeautyHealth BC 11D massage chair.

At under $1,700 dollars, the BC 11D offers features you’d expect to find on chairs twice the price, including 92 airbags, body scan technology, sliding armrests, and Zero Gravity. It features four automatic programs — the fully automated messages that come pre-programmed on the chair — six massage techniques, vibration massage, plus additional features like an MP3 player and headphones.

But here’s the kicker…

While the BeautyHealth BC-11D massage chair is “affordable,” we feel it’s also pretty outdated.

Here’s what we mean…

Rather than offering Bluetooth connectivity or a simple plug-and-play option to play music, on the BC 11D you have to download your music to an SD card or flash drive and then add it to the chair manually. And rather than offering built-in speakers and a headphone jack, the BC-11D comes with a pair of headphones.

BC 07D Massage Chair

Like the BC-11D, the BeautyHealth BC-07D massage chair is affordable and feature-rich. And at under $1,400 dollars, it seems like a great deal. But while there are some positive aspects, there are a few drawbacks. Let’s take a closer look…

The BeautyHealth BC-07D is a full-body massage chair which means that in addition to having rollers in the backrest it also offers arm and leg massage. The chair performs these massages using airbags that inflate and deflate to compress the areas. The BC-07D also has spinning rollers that massage under the feet.

For the price, the amount of massage coverage on the BC-07D is a compelling aspect. But again, we feel the BC-07D is a bit outdated compared to its similarly-priced contemporaries.

Like the BC-11D, it lacks Bluetooth and built-in speakers and instead requires you to download your music through an SD card or flash drive and comes with a pair of headphones.

The BC-07D also lacks built-in heat and instead comes with a jade stone handheld heating device. The main benefits of the handheld device are:

  • The jade stones produce far infrared heat that penetrates deeper into the muscle tissues.
  • Since the device is handheld, it can be placed anywhere it’s needed.
  • The temperature range can be adjusted to provide more or less heat.

When not in use, the heating device can be placed on the included cocktail table that sits next to the armrest of the chair.

While the handheld heating device appeals to some, it doesn’t to others. If you fall into the latter category, you might want to check out the BeautyHealth BC-07DH shiatsu recliner massage chair with built-in heat. It has all of the same features as the BC-07D but with heating pads in the lower back and under the feet.

BeautyHealth BC 07D features 77 airbags throughout the chair

The BC-07D performs six massage techniques, including rolling, kneading, flapping, combination kneading and flapping, shiatsu, and knocking. Using a combination of roller techniques and air massage, the BC-07D performs six automatic programs, including healthcare, relax, physical therapy, prescription, fatigue, and awake.

There are 77 airbags total that treat the sides of the shoulders, hips, forearms, calves, and feet.

BC 10D Massage Chair

BeautyHealth BC 10D is a full-featured massage chair
Beauty Health Massage Chair BC 10D

While the other BeautyHealth massage chairs we’ve discussed provide a good amount of coverage, there’s one area that can be lacking: the arms. If you look closely at the other models, the arm massagers are more like forearm massagers than full arm massagers.

The company addressed this issue in the BeautyHealth BC-10D Plus massage chair by incorporating much larger arm massagers (16 inches) for more coverage. The BC-10D is also the most expensive model on our list at just over $1,500 dollars.

Additionally, the BC-10D features built-in heating pads, spinning foot rollers, 70 airbags, six massage techniques, six automatic programs, and body scanning technology.

BC Ultra Infrared Shiatsu Massage Chair

BeautyHealth BC Ultra offers 3 zero gravity positions

If you suffer from headaches or are particularly interested in head massage, there’s a new BeautyHealth massage chair worth checking out: the BC-Ultra.

At the top of the backrest on the BC-Ultra is a headband that you wrap around your forehead. When activated, the headband inflates to gently squeeze your head. And there are rubber acupressure nodes located at the base of the skull that push into the area when the headband inflates.

Another massage chair model that features the massage headband is the Osaki OS-7075R.

But here’s the kicker…

The Osaki OS-7075R retails for $4,295.00 while the BeautyHealth BC-Ultra retails for $2,279.99 — a whopping $2,000 dollars less.

Thanks to its highly-competitive pricing, if your main must-have for your chair is a head massager, the BeautyHealth BC-Ultra may be the best bang for your buck.

Our Pick: Kahuna LM6800

Recommended For: Anyone looking for a massage chair with L-Track, heat therapy, foot rollers, and more, at an affordable price.

Check Latest Price Read Detailed Review

It’s no longer the rule that you have to pay a ton of money to get a quality massage chair. One massage chair that epitomizes this concept is the Kahuna LM6800. It’s priced at around $1,600 dollars — which is comparable to the majority of BeautyHealth models — but blows them out of the water in terms of technology, features, and user ratings.

The Kahuna LM6800 is one of the highest rated budget-friendly massage chairs on Amazon and it doesn’t seem to be slowing down. So why is it such a compelling chair? Let’s take a closer look…

Perhaps the most compelling feature on the Kahuna LM6800 is that instead of having an S-Track only, it has an SL-Track.

So what’s an S-Track?

A track is the mechanism the rollers move along as they massage. An S-Track is an “S” shaped track that’s designed to replicate the natural curve of the spine, keeping consistent contact and pressure across curvy areas like the lower back.

S-Tracks are the standard on any quality massage chair because without them you run the risk of the rollers losing contact or pressure.

SL-Tracks, on the other hand, incorporate the contouring benefits of an S-Track with the extended coverage of an L-Track.

L-Tracks pick up where S-Tracks ends — typically at the tailbone — and extend into the seat of the chair, adding an additional 15 inches or more to the massage coverage. L-Tracks perform a comprehensive glute massage and are excellent options for users with sciatica.

The Kahuna LM6800 is one of the most affordable SL-Track massage chairs currently available.

Kahuna LM6800 features an L-Track that extends from the neck to the buttock

Additionally, the Kahuna LM6800 features full-body air massage, six automatic programs including a full-body stretch program, foot rollers, Zero Gravity, built-in heating pads for the lower back and calves, body scanning technology, five massage techniques, and space saving technology.

With space saving technology, the Kahuna LM6800 moves forward as it reclines, drastically reducing the amount of space required behind the chair for it to fully recline. Space saving technology makes it possible to have a big full-body massage chair without the big footprint and loss of space.

Final Thoughts on the Beauty Health Massage Chair Reviews

There’s no shortage of affordable massage chairs on the market, so there’s no need to settle for a massage chair or brand that won’t deliver a quality end result.

If you want as many features as possible for the least amount of money with enough high user reviews to back it up, the Kahuna LM6800 is an excellent choice. However, if you’re drawn to the specific features and aesthetics of the BeautyHealth massage chairs, consider giving their customer service a call to get any questions you have answered before making your purchase.

Regardless of what you choose, we hope our BeautyHealth massage chair reviews made your decision process a little easier.
