Core Features of the OS 7200H & OS 7200CR

Computer Body Scan

Computer body scan technology gives you a custom-fit massage. Before initiating a massage program, the massage rollers in the backrest of the chair map out the curvature of your spine and back. The chair then adjusts rollers to fit your body using the information gathered from the scan. This process ensures that the massage rollers maintain close contact with your body for a more exacting and precise massage.

Zero-Gravity Technology

Zero-gravity technology is found in many of Osaki’s high-end massage chairs including the OS 7200H and OS 7200CR. In zero-gravity mode, the chair reclines up to 190 degrees while simultaneously elevating your legs and feet. This brings your body into a very therapeutic position where nearly all of your weight is supported by the backrest of the chair and your legs are slightly elevated above your heart. This position allows your spine to decompress and your back muscles to deeply relax while promoting better circulation.

S-Track Massage Roller System

Within the backrests of the OS 7200H and OS 7200CR is Osaki’s signature S-Track massage roller system. The S-Track is designed to closely match the unique curvature of the human spine to deliver the most efficient and comfortable massage possible. The massage roller track extends an impressive 31 inches from the top of the neck down to the tailbone — long enough to accommodate taller users.

Air Massage Technology

Both the OS 7200H and OS 7200CR feature airbag massagers precisely located throughout. The OS 7200H has 51 airbags while the OS 7200CR has 48. The airbag massagers work together to administer compression massage to your back, shoulders, neck, arms, hands, hips, thighs, calves, and feet.

Twin Quad Roller Head Massage System

The OS 7200H is one of Osaki’s only chairs to offer massage for the head. Twin quad rollers in the head pillow are designed to imitate the feeling of human hands as they gently massage the head. The OS 7200CR does not have this feature.

HIP AND PELVIS MASSAGE

On either side of the hips, there are two sets of air bags that massage the hips and pelvis. When the airbags inflate, the hips are squeezed inwards in a way that massages the hips and thighs, while gently compressing the pelvis. This action loosens up and relaxes the muscles in a very restorative way.

Outer Shoulder and Neck Massage

Airbags located on both sides of the upper portion of the backrest administer compression massage on the shoulders. Two additional airbags located on the outer portion of the head pillow are used to squeeze the back of the neck for an invigorating neck massage.

Arm and Hand Massage

The OS 7200H and OS 7200CR are both equipped with full arm massagers with airbags that cover both the tops and bottoms of the forearms, wrists, and hands. The arm massagers are lined with a spandex material that is soft to the touch and comfortable during extended use.

Calf and Foot Massage

Airbags line the sides, backs, and bottoms of the leg ottoman. The airbags inflate to apply compression massage to the legs and feet, and pressure point nodes beneath the feet add extra pressure to the bottoms of the feet.

Dual Foot Rollers

In addition to calf and foot air massage, the OS 7200CR features dual massage rollers beneath the feet. This feature is not found on the Osaki 7200H and is one of the main distinctions between the two models.

Heat Therapy

The OS 7200H and OS 7200CR are some of the only massage chairs by Osaki to offer heat therapy for the shoulders. Two heating pads located behind the shoulders gently warm up the shoulders to reduce tension in order to achieve a deeper massage.

6 Massage Styles

The OS 7200H and OS 7200CR offer six different styles of massage: kneading, tapping, Swedish, Shiatsu, kneading and tapping, and rolling.

8 Preset Massage Programs

With more preset massage programs than many other Osaki massage chairs, the OS 7200 series chairs give you plenty of options to choose from no matter what your mood. Each preset massage program features a combination of the six different massage styles, airbag compression, head, neck, and shoulder massage, as well as back roller massage.

Manual Massage Mode

If you want more control over your massage, you can operate the chair in manual mode. In manual mode, you can select from the six different massage styles, choose the body areas you’d like massaged, adjust the intensity and speed of the rollers, adjust the width of the rollers, and the recline of the chair.

Stretch Mode

Stretch mode is a unique feature of the OS 7200 series. In stretch mode, the airbags inflate and firmly grip the calves. Then, the leg ottoman slowly extends forward pulling down the legs to create a deep stretch. This action stretches all the muscles and joints from the ankles up to the lower back.

Customization

Auto Leg Scan

Using auto leg scan, the OS 7200H and OS 7200CR can be adjusted to fit users of various heights. When auto leg scan is activated, the leg ottoman extends all the way out, then slowly retracts. When it gets to the proper length, you press down firmly with your toes and it stops in place. This ensures that the airbags massagers apply pressure to the proper locations on the legs and feet.

Adjustable Head Rollers

Nearly every aspect of the massage rollers can be adjusted and customized to your preferences. The rollers have five strength settings, five speed settings, and three width settings.

Multi-Layer Pillow and Padding

A unique dual pad pillow system lets you customize the massage experience even further. Beneath the head rest cover, there are two micro foam pads that can be removed individually. Removing the pads makes the massage feel more intense. To keep your massage chair nice and clean, the head cover can be removed for washing.

Additional Features

MP3 Docking with Built-In Speakers

With the OS 7200H and OS 7200CR, you can listen to your favorite music through built-in speakers. Simply plug in your MP3 device or iphone directly into the chair and tuck your device away in the special storage compartment. The built-in speakers are located in the shoulder massagers and are directed toward your ears to provide a clear sound, even at low volumes.

LED Chromotherapy

On either side of the OS 7200 series massage chairs, you’ll see two LED lights hidden away in the silver strip that decorates the chair. The lights radiate a soft blue hue that shines on the walls of a dark or dimly lit room, creating a calm, peaceful atmosphere for your massage.

Remote Control

The OS 7200H and OS 7200CR both feature handheld remote controls that are designed to be very user-friendly. The bright LED screen displays all the programs and settings that are currently activated on the chair. Below the screen, you’ll find buttons that control the music syncing feature of the chair along with buttons to select preset massage programs. At the bottom of the remote, there’s a flip-down cover that gives you access to the manual controls of the chair. You can control everything from the massage style to heat therapy to speed and intensity of the air massage and massage roller heads.

Auto Timer

For both safety and convenience, the OS 7200 series chairs feature auto-off timers. Whether you select a preset massage program or choose to operate the chair in manual mode, you can set the timer from 5 to 30 minutes. At the end of the timer, the chair will automatically shut off.

OS 7200H Vs. OS 7200CR: What’s the Difference?

Both the OS 7200H and the OS 7200CR are top-of-the-line massage chairs, and both are very similar. There are, however, two main distinctions that set the two chairs apart.

  • Dual Foot Massage Roller – The OS 7200CR has a dual foot massage roller while the OS 7200H does not. If foot massage is important to you, go with the 7200CR.
  • Number of Airbags – The OS 7200H has a total of 51 airbags while the OS 7200CR only has 48. The reason there are fewer airbags in the OS 7200CR has to do with the fact that it has a dual foot massage roller in place of the airbag foot massagers as found in the OS 7200H.

Other than these two distinctions, both the OS 7200H and OS 7200CR share all the same core features and are excellent massage chairs in their own right.
